Summary
MarketBeacon is a curated business-news site. We collect the minimum amount of information needed to operate the site and respond to inquiries. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email, subject, and the message body you provide.
- Unsubscribe requests: email address only, recorded for compliance and to honour your opt-out.
- Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, user-agent, request path, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your contact-form messages.
- To honour unsubscribe requests across all of our outbound communications.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse of the Site.
3. Cookies
The Site itself does not set any first-party cookies. Outbound links to third-party publishers may result in those publishers setting cookies on your browser per their own privacy policies.
4. Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process traffic metadata in the course of providing CDN and DDoS-protection services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
5. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, others)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request via the contact form with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 calendar days.

6. Data retention
Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months from receipt. Unsubscribe records are retained indefinitely as required to honour your opt-out. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
8. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
